TMA pitched for the AFP’s 2020 International Missing Children’s Campaign after COVID prevented their tree planting ceremony. Our task was to design a concept that would cut through the media beast created by the coronavirus as well as producing a short video under strict social distancing rules. We leveraged the collective grief and loss the world was feeling due to lockdown to highlight the most emotive aspect of missing children – the unknown of a reunion. Using the sweet voice of a child to poetically tell our story. The video is a compilation of user-generated content, isolation photography and socially distant captured footage. The short video was shared via the Global Missing Children’s Network.
